WARRANTY
Refurbished
Equipment:
All
refurbished equipment is warranted by
AEC Technology to be free of material
and workmanship defects.
Unless otherwise stated, AEC
Technology will provide a three (3) year
warranty from the date of original sale.
This warranty is transferable to
subsequent owners.
Proof of original date of sale,
and if applicable, subsequent owners
proof of purchase is required.
Please see Limited/Non-Warranty
section for complete description of
warranty exclusions.
New Equipment - Manufacturer Warranty:
All
new equipment is warranted by the
manufacturer.
Warranty will vary depending on
manufacturer and level of equipment;
warranty policy will be listed under
product literature or specifications.
Replacement Parts:
Replacement
parts are warranted to be free of
material and workmanship defects for
ninety (90) days from the date of
purchase or replacement.
Proof of original date of sale,
if applicable, is required.
Warranty
Procedure
1.
Verify equipment, or replacement part,
is still within the warranty period.
2.
Contact AEC Technology Support at our
dealer dedicated line to confirm
diagnosis of system failure and verify
any replacement part(s) required.
Replacement parts can be shipped
via UPS or FedEx with optional Ground,
2nd Day Air or Next Day Air shipping
options.
Customer will be responsible for
all shipping charges,
and if applicable, return of defective
part(s). If defective part(s) is not returned within ten (10) days,
customer will be responsible for the
full cost of replacement part(s).
3.
Customer will have the option of
requesting a full unit replacement if
required. Replacement equipment will be
shipped via freight shipping with
standard shipping time of approximately
one (1) week. Customer will be responsible for
all shipping charges, and return of
defective equipment. If defective equipment is not
returned within twenty (20) days,
customer will be responsible for the
full cost of replacement equipment.
Returns
AEC Technology offers a twenty (20) day return
policy on merchandise based on the
following conditions:
Refurbished Equipment:
Refurbished
equipment can be returned for a full
refund.
All equipment must be returned
within twenty (20) days and Customer is
responsible for all shipping costs.
Upon receipt and inspection of
returned equipment AEC Technology will issue
a full refund excluding shipping
costs.
After 20 days, all returns are
subject
to a 15% restocking fee or more.
New Equipment :
Damaged
Product Box
If Customer receives damaged
products, please refuse the products
upon original delivery attempt.
If damaged products are accepted
from the carrier, such damage should be
noted on the carrier delivery record.
Please save the product and the
original box and packaging and notify
AEC Technology immediately to arrange
for a carrier inspection and a pick-up
of damaged products.
Non-Damaged/Defective, Unopened Merchandise
within twenty (20) days of Original
Purchase Date
If you have non-defective
merchandise which is unopened, depending
on the item, manufacturer policies, and
circumstances, we will issue you an RMA
# and will give you an address to ship
the product to at
your expense subject to a 15% restocking
fee or more.
Customer is responsible for
return shipping.
Non-Damaged/Defective, Opened Merchandise
We will not accept returns on
merchandise that has been opened and is
not defective.
Defective Products
If you have received defective
merchandise you must contact AEC
Technology within 20 days for
replacement of defective merchandise
with the exact same product.
After 20 days, Customer will have
to contact the manufacturer directly.
Limited
/ Non-Warranty Items
1.
Normal maintenance and preventive
maintenance repairs are not covered by
warranty. These items
include, but are not limited to:
Checking
and maintaining ink cartridges and
printheads.
Replacement
of empty or faulty ink cartridges and
printheads.
Consumables
including paper and specialty printing
materials.
2. AEC Technology assumes no warranty or
other liability for the replacement or
repair of components on any equipment if
damaged as a result of, but not limited
to, the following:
Accidental damage, damage due to
environmental conditions or obvious
abuse.
Main Board malfunctions which may be
caused by incorrect voltage such as power
surge or power brown-out.
Failures
created due to: improper installation or
incorrect wiring or grounding made
during servicing.
Modifications, parts and/or labor costs for repairs
done in lieu of replacing faulty
components, or
damage resulting from such repairs.
